The Winter Command from Goodyear is a studdable winter tire that's designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, minivans, and light trucks. Built with an asymmetrical tread pattern that enhances traction and handling performance, the Winter Command's wide grooves and open shoulders force water, slush, and snow out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on slippery roads. Additionally, the Winter Command features dense sipes that bite into the road to improve grip, braking, and acceleration performance.
Designed for use in winter weather conditions; should not be used when temperatures are consistently above 45 degrees Fahrenheit
Can be pinned 11 mm (TSMI #12) studs, where permitted, for extra traction and grip in severe winter weather conditions
Asymmetrical tread pattern enhances traction and handling performance
Special rubber compound keeps the tire flexible for consistent performance in sub-freezing temperatures
Rim protector guards wheels against accidental curb damage
Wide grooves drain water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on slippery roads
